"See, feel, paint, share"

Art has always been my way of listening. For decades, I have painted walls, canvases, and spaces, not to decorate them, but to speak with them. My work is rooted in quiet observation, cultural memory, and a deep reverence for the act of creation.

From public murals in Saudi Arabia to quiet sketches at home in London, each piece is part of a longer conversation, with place, with people, with spirit. This site is a record of that ongoing dialogue.

KAREEM ALRAMIS

Fine Artist & Contemporary Muralist

The Artist’s Style

My artistic style is transcribed by oil painting, where depth, texture, and light are built slowly, layer by layer. Oils allow me to explore patience and presence, offering a surface that evolves with time. Alongside this, my sketches in charcoal and graphite remain an essential part of my process, immediate, unfiltered, and raw. Together, these practices form a dialogue: one measured and enduring, the other swift and instinctive. Both are integral to how I see and interpret the world around me.

The materials guide the process. Sometimes it’s the grain of the wall, sometimes the resistance of the paper, sometimes the weight of the brush soaked in pigment. My work is not about imposing an image but about finding what already exists beneath the surface, in the material, in memory, in the space itself. I work across mediums: pencil, oil, ink, walls. Each demands something different from the hand, and offers something different to the viewer.

Every medium holds its own character, and in turn asks for a different response. Oils breathe with richness and time, building a surface that changes as light touches it. Pencil is stripped back to essentials, line and shadow, honesty and restraint. Ink resists hesitation, recording each decision with clarity, while murals exist in dialogue with the world around them: walls, streets, and communities. To work across these languages is to discover not just different techniques, but different ways of seeing. Each material reveals another side of the same search, for balance, for rhythm, for meaning within form.

Each piece begins with quiet, not with concept or design, but with stillness.
